About this event
La Romería Infantil de Gáldar, within the framework of the Día de Canarias festivities, will bring together schoolchildren and educational centers in the historic center. This intergenerational event is notable for its parrandas, traditional dress, and offerings, keeping local traditions alive. It promotes Canary culture, folklore, and traditions for boys and girls. With the participation of educational centers from Gáldar and the accompaniment of older people along the main streets of the historic center of Gáldar to Plaza de Santiago, ending at the front of the church of Santiago de los Caballeros.
