The Mercado Agrícola de Gáldar, an initiative driven by the Concejalía de Desarrollo Socioeconómico of the Ayuntamiento de Gáldar, led by Tine Martín Ojeda, returns this Sunday to Plaza de Santiago. The event offers a space for the sale of the best products from our land every fortnight on Plaza de Santiago and its surroundings, always on Sundays.
The event will take place from 9:00 to 13:30 and will bring together local producers in a day that aims to highlight the quality and authenticity of the municipality's and the island's primary sector.
During the morning attendees can enjoy a wide variety of zero-kilometer products, including fresh fruits and vegetables, artisanal breads and cheeses, honeys, wines and other earth-made delicacies, with the familiar flavor and the quality of our people. In addition, the Market will feature musical performances to brighten the day and help create a festive atmosphere in the heart of Gáldar.
The Mercado Agrícola de Gáldar counts on the collaboration of the Consejería de Sector Primario, Soberanía Alimentaria y Seguridad Hídrica of the Cabildo de Gran Canaria and forms part of the insular program of Mercados Agrícolas, Ganadero
