Official presentation of the Callejero Cinco Violetas, which gathers a compilation of the streets and public spaces in the municipality of Las Palmas de Gran Canaria named after women. Cinco Violetas arises with the aim of giving visibility to the streets and public spaces of the five districts of the municipality of Las Palmas de Gran Canaria that are linked to women, 248 designations. Its aim is to offer, clearly and accessibly, reviews of each of these designations, highlighting the stories of the women after whom they are named or their relation to women, as well as the approximate number of residents sharing that name (INE 2024).
