Mercado Agrícola de Gáldar

The Mercado Agrícola de Gáldar, an initiative led by the Concejalía de Desarrollo Socioeconómico of the Ayuntamiento de Gáldar, returns this Sunday to Plaza de Santiago. The event offers a space for selling the best products from our land every fifteen days at Plaza de Santiago and surrounding areas, always on Sundays.

The event will run from 9:00 to 13:30 and will bring together local producers in a day that aims to highlight the quality and authenticity of the municipality’s and the island’s primary sector.

In the morning attendees can enjoy a wide variety of zero-kilometer products, including fresh fruits and vegetables, artisanal breads and cheeses, honeys, wines, and other local products, with the familiar flavor and the quality of our people. The Market will also feature musical performances to brighten the day and help create a festive atmosphere in the heart of Gáldar.

The Mercado Agrícola de Gáldar is supported by the Consejería de Sector Primario, Soberanía Alimentaria y Seguridad Hídrica of the Cabildo de Gran Canaria and is part of the island-wide Mercado Agricola program, Ganader
