Cuentos de escaparate

Storefront windows of Arucas become stages of fantasy this Friday with Salsipuedes. Silent theatrical mini-plays will fill the street Juan de Bethencourt Domínguez with magic. An innovative cultural experience blends tradition, theatre and urban dynamization. The initiative, which will run from 18:00 to 20:00, invites the public to enjoy a unique experience from outside the shops. 'Cuentos de escaparate' revives one of the activities suspended in 2020 due to the pandemic, and consists of silent theatrical performances inspired by traditional tales, performed as mini-plays inside the storefront windows. The combination of theatre, creativity and urban dynamization offers a charming journey that transforms the street into a playful and cultural space. The activity will take place with simultaneous performances every fifteen minutes in all participating storefronts and counts on the collaboration of the Asociación Comercios de Arucas (COA) and the Ayuntamiento de Arucas, promoting the link between culture, commerce and the public in an event that embraces innovation and tradition.
