PIÑATA CHICA 2026

The Encuentro de Murgas de Candelaria reaches its twenty-year mark in 2026, establishing itself as one of the most prominent events of the Carnival of Canarias. It will take place on February 27, moving to the vicinity of the Town Hall.

Bailando los Clasicos is a dance show to celebrate Dance Day, which transcends the stage to become an unforgettable social and aesthetic gathering. A poetic homage to the popular puppeteer. From the discovery of Pedro Vidal's diary, a young artist reconstructs his story and, behind his mask, brings his memories to life through the device of “theater within the theater”. The original “Teatro de la Bicicleta”, by the old puppeteer, proposes shifts in perspective for the deconstruction of the puppeteer's craft.
