About this event
Granadilla de Abona celebrates its Fiestas Mayores from May 29 to June 14, 2026, with about fifty religious and festive events suitable for all audiences. The program takes place in the historic center and combines Masses, processions, institutional acts, and a wide agenda of performances and activities.
Highlighted program (Sunday, June 7 - XLVIII Romería en honor a San Antonio de Padua):
- 12:00 h. XLVIII Edition of the Romería en honor a San Antonio de Padua
- Solemn Eucharist sung by Parranda Chasnera and offering to San Antonio de Padua that will be distributed by Cáritas Parroquial. Offering by the Bailarines Herreños.
- After the Eucharist, it will depart from the plaza of the church of San Antonio de Padua, traverse the main streets of the historic center and end in Los Hinojeros.
- Next, a grand street party led by the orchestras Amanecer de la Gomera, Tropin, Acapulco and Wamampy.
The program includes religious and festive acts throughout the month, with fiestas, fairs, exhibitions, workshops and cultural meetings in the locality of Granadilla de Abona.

Corpus Christi in La Orotava
