His two children, now independent, visit him frequently with the aim of pulling him out of his confinement. At the same time, Sofía Timmerman appears, a woman belonging to the so-called “grandmothers of Plaza de Mayo”, who start a new campaign to locate the children who were stolen during the military dictatorship of General Videla, in the late 1970s. Both stories intertwine and converge, drastically changing the lives of their protagonists.
