A historic date with international comedy in Los Realejos! Having a living legend of contemporary theatre and circus like Peter Shub in our municipality is a unique cultural opportunity. Not every day can the audience enjoy up close a Monte Carlo Silver Clown, a Cirque du Soleil star and undisputed master of gestural humor. His presence makes Los Realejos the epicenter of physical comedy at an international level with a show, Stand up and fall down, promising laughter for all ages. A first-class event that no one should miss! Born in Philadelphia in 1957, Peter Shub has built an outstanding international career as an actor and independent director, collaborating with institutions and artists of reference such as RTL Samstag Nacht Comedy, the Cologne School of Comedy, or the Philadelphia Opera Company. He shared the stage with Roman Polanski in Amadeus and won the Jury Prize at the Cannes International Theatre Festival for his comedy solo Nice Night for an Evening. His work has reached audiences worldwide through TV programs like Just For Laughs in Montreal, and has been recognized by some of the most prestigious circuses on the planet, such as Roncalli in Germany, Big Apple Circus in New York, or Cirque du Soleil in Canada, which offered him long-term contracts. Awarded the Silver Clown Award from the Monte Carlo International Circus Festival, Shub is also a renowned trainer across Europe. He runs his famous clown workshop, where he explores comedy, humanity, improvisation and stage rhythm as essential tools of the theatrical art.

El Rosario takes part in the V Festival Internacional de Improvisación Teatral de Canarias with «60 Minutos en Blanco», a performance by the Improacción company, created entirely in the moment based on a suggestion from the audience. Free admission while capacity allows.
Workshops of the XIII Festival de Lana de Canarias
Free craft workshops at the XIII Festival de Lana de Canarias, featuring traditional spinning, carding, loom weaving, felting, and other techniques. All materials are included. Registration is open from October 26 at 8:00 a.m. until November 2, 2026, at 12:00 p.m.; admission decisions will be sent by email on November 3 and 4. Places are allocated in order of registration, with a maximum of two workshops per person. Programme subject to change.

Él. De las tinieblas a la luz (He. From Darkness to Light) comes to Teatro Leal in La Laguna on 21 November 2026. Inspired by the life and work of Mercedes Pinto, the production celebrates one of the leading voices in Canarian and Latin American culture. Drawing on her autobiographical novel Él (Him), alongside a selection of her poetry and personal testimony, the production reimagines her work as a contemporary opera. Set to music by Laura Vega, it explores violence, resistance and freedom, and the power of writing to change lives and keep memories alive.
