Semana del Libro 2026 outlines a cultural journey that connects literature, heritage and territory, inviting citizens to view their surroundings from a new perspective: the perspective of words. Activities open to the public:

• April 21: Biblioteca «La ciudad se escribe» with Eduardo Zalba. An experience that brings together heritage and writing, in which the spaces of the historic center are transformed into inspiration for literary creation.
• April 24: Biblioteca «La literatura canaria y sus mitos» with Carlos Brito Pérez. An informative tour through the great myths that have shaped the archipelago's cultural imagination.
• April 25: Castillo San Felipe. A lyric-musical concert with Domingo el Colorao and Ayla Rodríguez. Poetry, music and orality in a unique heritage site. Free activities with prior registration.
