35th Festival Internacional Canarias Jazz & Más (FICJ&M) – 35th edition
The program of the 35th edition of the Festival Internacional Canarias Jazz & Más (FICJ&M) will include two concerts by the English musician Jacob Collier (London, 1994) with the Gran Canaria Philharmonic Orchestra, conducted by Suzie Collier, with whom they already collaborated in the last edition during the Take 6 concert. These two performances will take place on July 21 and 22, 2026 at the Auditorio Alfredo Kraus and the Auditorio de Tenerife, respectively, institutions that also co-produce these stellar dates. Tickets will be available from February 27 through the usual sales channels of the two venues.
This will not be the only star figure of this new edition of the festival. The FICJ&M will feature in its program for this edition acts and artists of the caliber of Yellowjackets, an American quartet founded in 1980 with nearly 30 releases, winners of 2 Grammy Awards and 17 nominations; pianist and composer Tigran Hamasyan, considered one of the most outstanding and distinctive jazz and rock pianists of his generation; and Lucia Rey, winner of the Jazz España Platform 2026/2027 awards.

Orquesta Mondragón - 8 Islas Fest
The Orquesta Mondragón will be performing at the Teatro Leal in La Laguna on 18th July. The band, led by Javier Gurruchaga, is celebrating its 50th anniversary with a special show that looks back over half a century of music. The concert forms part of the 8 Islas Fest and will feature the band’s best-known songs, presented in the group’s trademark theatrical and humorous live format.
