XLI Cross San Bartolomé of Tejina
About this event
The 41st San Bartolomé de Tejina Cross-Country Race takes place in August as part of the town’s patron saint festivities. One of Tenerife’s longest-running cross-country events, this race is held annually in Tejina, coinciding with the town’s Saint Bartholomew festivities. The cross-country run welcomes runners from various categories and is a classic fixture in northern Tenerife’s grassroots sporting calendar.

Registration is now open to participate in XII Carrera Popular in honor of Nuestra Señora de La Esperanza- Egatesa Running 2026, the premier sporting event of La Esperanza's fiestas.
- Distance: 5 km
- Elite category: 15 € (20 € from July 1)
- Children's Races: 5 €
- Free shuttle to the start of the main race (camino La Cañada, opposite Egatesa)
- Prizes for the top three finishers in each category
