SYNOPSIS: Nicotine Swing is a Tenerife-based band with more than fifteen years of activity, recognized at the Canary Islands Music Awards. Born around gypsy jazz and Django Reinhardt’s tradition, their sound has evolved into a more personal proposal, incorporating influences from bolero, pop song structures, the expressiveness of Italian songs, and echoes of other roots music.

Their music has crossed the Canary Islands borders and has been part of festivals and international gatherings held in India, South Korea, and Colombia, as well as numerous island and national stages.

Their third album, Decidí, deepens the blend of swing and gypsy jazz with other musical elements in service of the song. The eight tracks address heartbreak, resentment, and loss, with lyrics that alternate irony, vulnerability, and a certain emotional darkness.
