Embarkation of the Virgin of Carmel. The statue of Nuestra Señora del Carmen (Our Lady of Carmel), patron saint of sailors, is carried in a maritime procession from the church to the sea, accompanied by decorated boats and fireworks. One of the most deeply-rooted traditions on the north coast of Tenerife.
