The City Council of El Rosario organizes a cycle of conferences to commemorate Día Mundial de la Salud. The sessions are open to the public and free of charge. Program (topics and times):

Taller de Juegos de Mesa
Within the Salud 360º program, a Taller de Juegos de Mesa will be held, an activity designed to enjoy group leisure and foster participation and interaction among young people. Schedule: 17:00 to 19:00. Location: Casa de la Juventud de La Orotava. Taller de Alfarería Tradicional
Within the Salud 360º program, the Casa de la Juventud de La Orotava hosts a Taller de Alfarería Tradicional workshop taught by artisan Zoraida Padilla. The activity will take place on Tuesday, April 7, from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m., and is aimed at young people aged 12 to 17. During the workshop, participants will have the opportunity to learn basic pottery techniques and create their own handmade piece. At the end of the activity, each participant will be able to take home their handmade piece. Location: Casa de la Juventud de La Orotava.

Festival Internacional La Orotava Cittaslow 2026
La Villa is getting ready to host a new edition of the Festival Internacional La Orotava Cittaslow, an event that invites you to breathe, feel and savor the philosophy of care, calm and quality of life. In this second edition, La Orotava will experience a highlight with the official twinning with the municipality of Bubión, in Granada, marking the first official meeting between municipalities in the national Cittaslow network. The program will include various activities linked to sustainable tourism, education, gastronomy, local products and culture. On September 25, International Tourism Day, Plaza de la Constitución will be the main stage for the villa’s official acts to celebrate a more conscious, sustainable way of traveling, connected to the roots of the territory. Additionally, La Orotava students will take part in culinary workshops led by CanBio Comunidad Slow Food, focused on the value of food and the Slow Food philosophy. The Cittaslow badge will also be presented to the new establishments joining the Villa as part of this commitment to quality of life. The program will also feature the Km0 Fair “Las Ventitas,” a space devoted to local producers, crafts and flavors of the land. Music will also play a prominent role with performances by a.f. Oroval, Nicotine Swing and Somos Caracoles.
Campeonato de Ajedrez de Tenerife en El Sauzal

Cuerpos de Orgullo – V Festival contra la violencia estética y gordofobia – 2026
FIFTH Festival against aesthetic violence and fatphobia in the Canary Islands – CUERPOS DE ORGULLO is the first festival of music, market and education in the Canaries created to visibilize body diversity and dissident bodies, fighting fatphobia and aesthetic violence.

Collaborators: Cabildo de Tenerife and CIT del Nordeste.
