The Procession of Saint Michael is the highlight of the patron saint’s festivities in San Miguel de Abona, located in the south of Tenerife. Featuring floats, ox-drawn carts, and traditional Canarian costumes, it stands out as one of the most lively folk events in the municipality and the southern region of the island.

Procession of San Juan de la Rambla. San Juan de la Rambla carries out its procession in honour of Saint Joseph on the 19th of September. Traditional Canarian costumes, decorated carts and the festive atmosphere typical of religious processions.

Tenerife en Salsa festival brings together stars of the calibre of Andy Montañez, José Alberto ‘El Canario’ and Grupo Niche, alongside Tenerife-born Iván Cacú and his orchestra. The event also features salsa and bachata DJs, open dance classes and a food area serving traditional Canarian specialities and cocktails.

The Canarian comedian Omayra Cazorla will take to the stage in Tenerife at the Teatro Unión Tejina this September as part of the Reíslas Comedy Festival. Fiestas Mayores de Tacoronte. See the full schedule from September 13 to 28 for Tacoronte 2026, in honor of the Santísimo Cristo de los Dolores of the city. This year’s lineup includes the stellar performance by Marta Sánchez on the 26th, as well as appearances by other notable figures in the music scene, such as Manu Tenorio, Victoria Escudero, Tonny Tun Tun, St. Pedro, Francisco. The head of TVCanaria’s Meteorology Department, Vicky Palma, will deliver the Proclamation on Sunday the 13th, while the group Los Cantadores will close the edition on Sunday the 27th with a special concert alongside singer Pitingo.
