Fiesta de la Tercera Edad - La Cuevita 2026

The Ayuntamiento de Artenara invites all pensioners and residents aged 65 and over registered in the municipality to participate in the Fiesta de la Tercera Edad, which will take place next Saturday, August 8, at 8:00 PM, at the Almacén Municipal.

The evening will feature performances by Mariachi Peleón and the Dúo Enclave Musical, in a gathering designed to share a pleasant night of companionship within the Fiestas de La Cuevita.

The Municipal Senior Club organizes for the upcoming Saturday, August 29, the special excursion «Vamos Pal´Pino», whose itinerary is as follows: Santa Brígida-Teror-Valleseco-Almuerzo (Restaurante Balcón de Zamora) -San Mateo (Baile) and return. In the morning there will be a gathering with walkers leaving our municipality on a pilgrimage to Teror, to enjoy, as usual, with the whole group. The excursion will be accompanied by the group «DULCE CACAO».

Summer Campaign – The Municipal Sports Society (SMD) launches once again its Summer Campaign 2025, aimed at facilitating family balance during school holidays, while offering children an enriching, active, and fun experience. The campus will run from June 22 to August 28 at the Complejo Municipal de Deportes and its annexed facilities, with a full program of sports activities such as swimming, karate, and paddle, as well as cooking, games, and camping. Typical schedule: 9:00 to 14:00, Monday to Friday. Pre-campaign pickup services (7:15 to 9:00) and post-campaign (14:00 to 16:00) available.

The Escuela de Música Banda de Santa Brígida has announced the opening of enrollment for the upcoming academic year 2026-2027. This cultural and educational program aims to foster love for music in the municipality, offering residents the opportunity to learn from scratch or improve skills across a wide variety of musical instruments. The activities will take place at Camino al Tejar, s/n (near CEIP Lola Massieu, La Angostura).
