Events in Gran Canaria in August 2026

The City Council of Arucas, through the Youth Department, announces the celebration of Campamento de Verano “Garañón” 2026, which will take place from August 17 to 21 in the natural surroundings of Garañón, in the heart of Gran Canaria. This initiative, already established as one of the summer's most eagerly awaited youth activities, is aimed at young people aged 11 to 17 and offers five days of shared living, contact with nature, and outdoor activities, including aquatic options and group dynamics oriented toward personal and social development. The participation fee is 150 euros per participant. Pre-registrations will be open from June 23 to 30, 2026, or until all available places are filled. The enrollment process can be completed online through the sede electrónica del Ayuntamiento de Arucas, as well as in person at the Oficina de Atención al Ciudadano, in this case with an appointment.
