‘En Otra Clave’, the most-watched comedy program on Televisión Canaria, arrives at Teatro Auditorio Agüimes to offer a unique experience. The Senior Club organizes for October from the 7th to the 9th a trip to the island of La Gomera, the second smallest of the Canary Islands (Spain). It stands out for its rugged volcanic mountains with numerous hiking trails. At high altitude, dense forests of ferns and trees covered with moss grow in the mists of Garajonay National Park. Closer to the coast, the Gran Rey valley traverses La Calera, a village of whitewashed houses perched on a cliff, ending at the black sand beaches of the Atlantic Ocean. TRIP ITINERARY: DAY 07 OCTOBER – GRAN CANARIA–GOMERA. Meeting in Sta Brígida at 04:45, airport transfer, check-in procedures and regular Binter Canarias flight to La Gomera at 07:15. Arrival at 08:05. Bus and guide assistance. Visit to the capital, the historic quarter, Torre del Conde, the last port from which Columbus departed to America. Continue via GM1 to Hermigua, with stops at different viewpoints, a coffee break and gomero sweets shopping. Rural village with banana plantations and the old pescante. Continue to Agulo, one of the most beautiful villages in Spain, declared in June 2022, stroll through its cobbled streets. Lunch (La Zula or Las Rosas). Continue to the Jardín Tecina hotel, dinner and overnight. DAY 08 OCTOBER – LA GOMERA. Breakfast at the hotel. Pick-up at the hotel, departure via GM1 through northern villages (Hermigua, Agulo) to Vallehermoso, where you can have coffee, visit the church and take a walk, continue to Valle Gran Rey, where there will be some free time to see La Calera and Vueltas. Lunch at a restaurant. On the way back to the hotel, depending on the time we stop at the Laguna Grande, where those who can will take a short hike through a very short trail and see laurisilva. Arrival at the hotel, dinner and overnight. DAY 09 OCTOBER – LA GOMERA – GRAN CANARIA. Arucas is offering a new free activity for youths aged 12 to 30, to design a tote bag. The workshop, organized by Association Educativa y Social Tagoror Ajei with the collaboration of the Ayuntamiento, will take place next Friday, October 9, from 17:00 to 18:00 at the Centro Municipal de Juventud.

From the Youth Department of the Ayuntamiento of Arucas, we invite minors and young people to participate in an afternoon designed to unleash imagination and print their ideas on a fabric bag. The materials and the tote bag are included in the activity.

On the upcoming October 10, the Arucas Municipal Culture Center hosts the workshop-talk “Sacar adelante tu primer cortometraje: de la idea al rodaje,” by Surco Producciones. An opportunity to learn how to turn an idea into an audiovisual project, what goes on behind a shoot, and how to secure support and collaborations, based on the experience of the short film Señoras.
