An interpreted guided route in Arinaga (municipality of Agüimes, Gran Canaria). Next Saturday, April 18, we invite you to explore the charming fishing village of Arinaga through an interpretation route full of history, scenery, and tradition. We will walk along the promenade for more than 4 km, with stops at emblematic spaces such as Muelle Viejo, el faro de Arinaga, and the old lime kilns to learn about the area's mining past. Storefront windows of Arucas become stages of fantasy this Friday with Salsipuedes. Silent theatrical mini-plays will fill the street Juan de Bethencourt Domínguez with magic. An innovative cultural experience blends tradition, theatre and urban dynamization. The initiative, which will run from 18:00 to 20:00, invites the public to enjoy a unique experience from outside the shops. 'Cuentos de escaparate' revives one of the activities suspended in 2020 due to the pandemic, and consists of silent theatrical performances inspired by traditional tales, performed as mini-plays inside the storefront windows. The combination of theatre, creativity and urban dynamization offers a charming journey that transforms the street into a playful and cultural space. The activity will take place with simultaneous performances every fifteen minutes in all participating storefronts and counts on the collaboration of the Asociación Comercios de Arucas (COA) and the Ayuntamiento de Arucas, promoting the link between culture, commerce and the public in an event that embraces innovation and tradition.

The initiative 'Construimos Arucas Contigo' aims to promote the rights and well-being of children through active participation. The First Mesa Participativa is convened to design a Diagnóstico y Plan de Infancia y Adolescencia tailored to the needs of the municipality, open to everyone from childhood to the elderly. Its goal is to ensure that the rights, voices and well-being of children and adolescents are present in the decisions that affect them. The meeting will take place on Wednesday, April 15 at 6:00 PM, in the Edificio de Usos Múltiples Bañaderos 'Mesa de Ciudadanía'. The City Council invites everyone to participate actively and become part of this initiative that puts childhood at the center of municipal action.

The exhibition 'Donde el color respira' is held at La Casa de la Cultura de Arucas and is curated by the artist Rosa María Pérez Tamayo. The show gathers about 35 works in watercolor, oil, and acrylic, where the author proposes an emotional view of nature, understood as energy, movement, and expression.

The play "Tacones prohibidos" at the Nuevo Teatro Viejo de Arucas, performed by Lili Quintana. It is a staging with acting and music that presents five distinct female portraits and offers the audience an emotional journey of approximately sixty minutes. Through texts and songs, the play presents stories starring women that reflect realities, emotions and diverse experiences; an unconventional monologue configured as a parade of female characters facing various experiences and their ability to chart their own path.

La Biblioteca Municipal de Arucas commemorates World Book Day with a full program that starts with the presentation of a literary work and extends over several days with workshops, meetings and activities to promote reading. The program includes:

La Concejalía de Educación of the Ayuntamiento de Teror begins on 20 April the sign language training workshop dedicated to the ‘Sordoceguera’, which will run until 11 May 2026, in 7 sessions on Mondays and Wednesdays, from 16:00 to 19:00 hours. The free course is integrated into the project ‘ENTRESIGNOS II’, funded by the Cabildo de Gran Canaria through the Consejería de Educación y Juventud.
