The Mercado Agrícola de Gáldar, an initiative driven by the Concejalía de Desarrollo Socioeconómico del Ayuntamiento de Gáldar, returns this Sunday to Plaza de Santiago. The event offers a space for the sale of the best products from our land every Sunday in Plaza de Santiago and its surroundings, always on Sundays. The hours are from 9:00 to 13:30 and it will bring together local producers. During the morning, visitors can enjoy a wide variety of kilometer-zero products, including fresh fruits and vegetables, artisanal breads and cheeses, honeys, wines and other local produce, with the familiar taste and the quality of our people. In addition, the Market will feature musical performances to brighten the day. It forms part of the insular program of Mercados Agrícolas, Ganadero and of the Consejería de Sector Primario, Soberanía Alimentaria y Seguridad Hídrica del Cabildo de Gran Canaria.

Poncia Inside a fog storm, Poncia, the maid of Bernarda Alba, prays for the death of Adela. The house has sunk into a sea of silence. Poncia speaks alone and also with Bernarda and her daughters. It is the performance of a text written from the interventions of the Poncia character in Lorca's play. Through a deep analysis of the character, I rescue her interventions and turn them into reflection, soliloquies, dialogues with ghosts and shadows.
This text is based on the interventions of the Poncia character in the work of Federico García Lorca. In a deep analysis of the character, I have rescued the interventions of Poncia and turned them into reflection, soliloquies, dialogues with ghosts and shadows. Thus, a new look inside the house is illuminated. In the original work we witness a sequence of events that unfolds in chronological order. Here, in Poncia, it does not. She speaks after the shock produced by Adela's suicide. All takes place after her death.
Poncia's tongue loosens in a place and time forbidden for words. Poncia settles scores with the inhabitants who survive inside the house. We discover Poncia's sympathy for the younger daughter, she advocates for her.

This innovative show offers a fusion of various musical pieces that, through jazz improvisation, traverse different phases of flamenco, from Manuel de Falla's classical interpretation to contemporary compositions by artists such as Camarón de la Isla, Paco de Lucía, Bebo Valdés, Paquito de Rivera, Diego El Cigala, Jorge Pardo, or Juan Parrilla.
The second part of the show features compositions by great composers such as Béla Kovács, Louis Armstrong, Ella Fitzgerald, George Gershwin and his ‘An American in Paris’ or pieces by the Spanish saxophonist Pedro Iturralde. All through fusion, flamenco and jazz, plus some on-stage surprises that aim to leave a lasting memory in the spectator, making them participants and transporting them to a different universe.
