Patricia Morales, a Gran Canaria illustrator, creates twenty illustrations that pay tribute to illustrious Canary Island women. The exhibit is completed with biographies of these influential figures in Canary Island culture.

Exhibition 'Que la vergüenza cambie de bando' by Gara Acosta. The exhibition makes visible and denounces sexual violence through 26 testimonies and fictional portraits of girls and women. From 6 to 30 March 2026. Hours: 18:00–19:00. Location: CASA DE LA CULTURA. Ages 5 and up. Free admission.

The City Council of Santiago del Teide launches its special programming to commemorate International Women's Day from March 8 to 24. There will be activities, meetings, and events to reflect on gender equality.

Paper sculpture exhibition by José Esquivel, aiming to revive and give new life to books in a context of cultural waste. The exhibition will be open to the public from Wednesday to Sunday.

On the occasion of World Poetry Day, the Department of Culture of the Ayuntamiento de El Sauzal presents the thirteenth edition of the Acción Poética movement, where poems and thoughts will be displayed on panels in the Plaza del Príncipe and Avenida Inmaculada Concepción.

Romeó et Juliette-Charles Gounod is an opera performed by Ópera de Tenerife and the Tenerife Ópera-Intermezzo Main Choir. The visit of the image of Santo Hermano Pedro travels through the neighborhoods of Vilaflor de Chasna on the occasion of the IV Centenary of the birth of Santo Hermano Pedro. Within municipal activities to commemorate International Women's Day, the Social Action area is organizing a day just for them. The Ayuntamiento de El Rosario has opened the registration period for a free women's excursion to the municipality of Puerto de la Cruz, which will take place next Saturday, March 21. This excursion, organized within municipal acts in remembrance of International Women's Day celebrated every March 8, is for women aged 18 and over who are registered in El Rosario. The women who sign up will enjoy a tour of some of the most emblematic places in the historic center of the northern municipality and will share a different day in one of Tenerife's best-known tourist destinations. As the excursion closes, participants will enjoy a dinner dance, which will crown the day in a festive and collegial atmosphere. Music and dance will be the protagonists of this gathering that aims to create spaces of fun and connection among women. This leisure offer is completely free and includes bus transport, departing from three different points in the municipality: La Esperanza, Llano del Moro and El Chorrillo.
