Camino Santiago por la Vida is the 4th edition of the solidarity journey of the Fundación Canaria Carrera por la Vida – Walk for Life. Open to women and men with breast cancer and their companions. From August 29 to September 6, 2026 they will walk 125 km along the Camino Frances to come together, share experiences and build bonds among people who are currently facing or have faced the disease, and those who accompany them. During the itinerary there will be awareness about early detection and visibility of survival. Includes measures of assistance and support during the march. Organized with the support of the Health Area of the Adeje Town Hall and the Sports Department of the Government of the Canary Islands. Limited places. Festival Internacional La Orotava Cittaslow 2026
La Villa is getting ready to host a new edition of the Festival Internacional La Orotava Cittaslow, an event that invites you to breathe, feel and savor the philosophy of care, calm and quality of life. In this second edition, La Orotava will experience a highlight with the official twinning with the municipality of Bubión, in Granada, marking the first official meeting between municipalities in the national Cittaslow network. The program will include various activities linked to sustainable tourism, education, gastronomy, local products and culture. On September 25, International Tourism Day, Plaza de la Constitución will be the main stage for the villa’s official acts to celebrate a more conscious, sustainable way of traveling, connected to the roots of the territory. Additionally, La Orotava students will take part in culinary workshops led by CanBio Comunidad Slow Food, focused on the value of food and the Slow Food philosophy. The Cittaslow badge will also be presented to the new establishments joining the Villa as part of this commitment to quality of life. With the traditional raising of the flag on Montaña de Aregume, our village begins to beat to the rhythm of devotion and shared happiness. Music and rhythm: we will enjoy the II edition of Isla Baja Salsa Fest, concerts and the awaited Festival Boreal. Culture and roots: cultural acts, exhibitions and days of historic memory to value our identity. Tradition in community: the ringing of bells, the firework show by Pirotecnia Hermanos Toste and the exciting Día Grande on September 8.
Taganana Festival
The Taganana Festival is happiness. It's culture, music, and the performing arts in the unique rural setting of the Anaga Massif, a Biosphere Reserve. Between ravines and giant rocks, between the waves of an endless sea and the most ancient laurel forests of Tenerife, this festival takes place, reaching its seventh edition with its most extensive international program to date.
Conciertos del Verano 2026
The Summer Concerts 2026. From July 3 to September 11, the gardens of our small palace become the stage for “Conciertos del Verano 2026.” Fusion, roots, jazz, boleros and nights under the stars with artists such as Luis Morera, Domingo "El Colorao" or Candelaria González. And entry is completely free until capacity is reached!

MUSA Mexico Mexican Culture Festival. The festival runs from 02 September 2026 to 02 November 2026 at the Museum of Nature and Archaeology (MUNA) in Santa Cruz de Tenerife, featuring music, cinema, performing arts, literature, cuisine, workshops, talks and exhibitions.

The Monday opens the registration for the free workshop "Locución, realización y streaming en la radio municipal". Free course for ages 14 and up. Dates: September 3 to October 29.
